by some of you people? I saw plenty of folks y'day tal;king about how they were going with NIU as soon as they saw that play...ggez...the guy is 20-3 over his last 23 for chrissakes. But regardless of his record I have to wonder why so many people have such a negative opinion. I started subscribing to PS about 15 yrs ago and in that time I've never seen him lie about his record, and I'd say he's hit over that 15 yr peiod about 55% winners, and MUCH better on the big plays. So what's the deal? Nice system play, BTW;-)

first of all..who cares whether people like them or not. if you are doing well with them than what does it matter? people rag on all services...not just north coast.
as for the "nice system play" comment, those plays are now 12-3 dating back to last season. for most people that bet on sports that's a pretty good %, and a valuable contribution to this site.
so how bout you and your 7 posts save the smart ass comments for someone who cares...which around here would be nobody.Comment

umm i just added something to your so called legit question if you read the first paragraph. every service out there gets pissed on by somebody...you haven't figured that out yet? and personally i didn't see that much negativity towards them aside from the pre mature reaction of the guy who started the thread when the score was 34-20, which many people do when they are losing a bet. other services get ragged on way more than north coast does.Comment

Homer, I would say next time someone asks a question you don't know the answer to, or don't wish to share one...that you simply ignore it unless your time is really that worthless. I will tell you what I think............I think he is a scam artist............Try to get him on the phone when you call northcoast............he's always to busy.........
He runs his community line with such services as Great Lakes sports, Billy Coleman, etc. etc..............but whats funny is I called a couple of days ago and guess who was working the phone........the so-called guy who runs Great Lakes sports.........DONT YOU SEE THE SCAM HERE..............HE ADVERTISES AS A FOOTBALL ONLY SERVICE BUT YET I THINK ALL THE GUYS DOES IS RUN MULTIPLE SERVICES.........TRYING TO MARKET TO AS MANY CUSTOMERS AS POSSIBLE.............I BET HE WAS BRAGGING ABOUT WINNING HIS 5* YESTERDAY BUT HE PROBABLY FAILED TO MENTION YOU WOULD STILL BE LOTS OF $$$$ DOWN FROM HIS PRE-SEASON SELECTIONS...............I think the guy has his hand is a lot of services he promotes............I CHALLENGE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG IF YOU CAN............Comment

I will say this:I am one of the those who follows many of the big name services and have so for many years.
I have taken some shots at several services for misleading statements, deception and in some instances giving out multiple GOY'S including ones which made no sense, lost and seemed to me to be given out merely to trump up business.
I kid about Phil Steele/NorthCoast because of his long 4-5 minute boring comp. tapes he runs every day extolling the virtues of PowerSweep, his late phone service, etc.
Sometimes I find him amusing sometimes like during this past week when for several days he would talk about the upcoming Sept. 5* and tell subscribers about how to get the special code to get it-something like when I was a kid many years ago when you could get some kind of a special decoder ring if you sent in so many cereal boxtops.
Perhaps Phil should say prior to the release of the next 5* something like "Call our office if you are a subscriber to receive your special code, or if you don't want to bother, simply go to Bettorschat.com and check the service request thread at around 11:00 the day of the game and receive the game for NOTHING;either way you will receive the game and be a winner."

During peak times on Saturday's and Sundays this site is inundated by non-members, members who've made little or no contributions to this forum and members who want nothing but service selections. It's BS threads like these that offer no substance that bog down the system.

I wasn't going to get into this but I will clarify that the 20-3 record referred to is Steele's streak on games of the month and games of the year and goes back several years. (he has a single GOM in college and pro and GOYs for pro, college, playoff and bowl.) The 20-3 is legitmate and stunning. His regular picks are obviously nowhere near that good although he has had a very good start this year.Comment

Offer opinions on games. Make your own selections. DON'T make the very first thread you started defending a service. No one really gives a shit about NC. They certainly don't give a shit about your defense of NC. Don't waste the bandwidth of this site with this BS.
You haven't been around long enough to understand the frustrations of members who've been around longer. This site isn't about getting free picks from the services. Stick around! You'll find the cappers of this site are better than any 'professional' capper. Best of all the cappers of this site post their records and offer the picks for free.
I'm certain you are the type that would rather pay Steele or any other paid capper because you feel you're getting something for you money. My condolences!

My interest stems from I read most threads in this forum. You haven't been around long enough to know my feeling and the feelings of most 'active' members. You will find that myself and many other frown upon the use scamdicappers. I've been an active member for almost a year with over 2000 posts. It's frustrating when many members can't connect to this site because other members such as you offer nothing in return other than to get the services selctions and post BS threads.Comment
