  • late night college football

Guys, have looked at this site for a couple of months and found lots of good capper and great analysis on games. Here is my 1st post for college football and here is what I like:

MN Gophers (-4.5) - Gophers last week took their opponent too lightly against Illinios St and won 37-21. They will not make the same mistake this week as they travel to Colorado St. Gophers might have the best running game in the nation with 2 1,000 yard rushers in Maroney & Barber. Colorado St gave up 189 yards to Colorado's Purify and USC ran for 322 against Colorado St the next week so I see Gophers running game will be dominent again. Also, Colorado St only returns 3 starters from their D last year. In week 1, they smoked Toledo 63-21 and the score wasn't even that close as Gophers were up 63-7 giving up 2 cheap touchdowns late in 4th qtr. Even though Colorado St has won 10 straight home openers, I'm betting none were top 25 teams. Good luck tonight and hope for a Gopher's win & cover!!

    Recap

Hopefully a number of you won with the Gophers as they covered the 4.5 winning 34-16. Gophers running game was unbelievable with Barber rushing for 201 yards and 2 TDs and Maroney rushed for 132 yards. Got a little worried as the starting QB Cupito for Gophers got hurt in 3rd qtr and Gopher's offense wasn't the same with the backup. Hope everyone had a great day yesterday and lets win some more today!!
