Southern Dandy's Play of the Day

After a hard day at the plantation, the Southern Dandy has been relaxing, smoking fine cigars, drinking the best brandy, and studying the lines. Through careful observation, the other Southern Gentleman and I have concluded that the play of the day is: Clemson -1.

And if anyone sees Ty Gaston around town today, tell him the challenge has been accepted, and the weapons will be pistols at sunrise.

The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.
