Cashed in the big 5 Star winner last night as St. Louis knocked off Louisville. My 5 Star record for all sports now stands at 58-33-2 (63.7%). Here is my big play for tonight.....
5 STAR: Iona (+1.5) OVER RIDER
The wrong team is favored here. Iona has had the upper hand in this series, winning 8 out of the 12 games played since 1997, including 4-1 straight up at Rider in that span. Rider is only 1-5-1 against the spread (ATS) as a home favorite this season, and they are 0-6 ATS after playing 2 consecutive games as an underdog over the last 3 seasons. Rider is also only 1-6 ATS in home games when playing against a team with a winning record over the last 3 seasons. Iona is the much more athletic and explosive team, they win this one!
