Overestimated the abilty of the KC defense to stop the run and the Saints ability to have a cohesive offensive game plan. Otherwise, another profitable day with two 4* calls on Cleveland and UNDER coming through with flying colors. Only one day with negative units since football began this season up to now.

Another heads up about tonight's total selection:

3.5* OVER 43/Green Bay and Carolina to fly OVER 43 tonight. Should happen late 3rd quarter or very early fourth at worst.

If you read the stat logs from Saturday and Sunday's games, there are some numbers that give considerable pause to the actual results. Indiana only managed 198 TOTAL yards at Oregon to the Ducks 495 but SEVEN turnovers did the Quack Attack in. Some will put a lot of stock in the "resurgence" of the Indiana program, but it's really a house of cards.

Joe Gibbs' defense in Washington played an impressive game and may be revitalized, but they did it against a Bucs offense that has no RB's or WR's of any value and an immobile, aging QB. Similar numbers in other games paint the same picture. That should give us some value this week as one of the biggest lies in NFL Football is week one results and how they translate to week two point spreads.
