I thought I would share my experience with Mike Lee.
I had just moved to Vegas in 1991 and chose to subscribe to Mike Lee Sports service. I think I paid around $1200 for a full year of his selections. I phoned his office daily via a toll free # and recieved his picks from Gail. I assumed Gail was his assistant, but recently discovered that she was his business partner. Very nice lady and always cordial. I always tried to keep the daily conversations short as I figured she had other subscribers calling in, she never cut me short.
After a few months of service, I had a family emergency that would force me to stop gambling and use my bankroll for expenses. I informed Gail that I wouldn't be calling for the picks anymore and explained why. She expressed her condolenses and said she would talk to Mike and see about a partial refund. Mike's picks had been mediocre at best while I used his service, so I never made any profit from his picks. I was stunned when 3 days later I received a $1200 check in the mail from Mike Lee Sports. I honestly didn't expect anything back. Although, I never rejoined his service, I will always have kind words for Gail, Mike and Mike Lee Sports.
