Last week and its misery behind, lets move on to a better slate and hopefully start recovering from last week's debacle::
Records::
10* 0-3
5* 0-2
3* 3-1
10* Auburn (-13) vs. miss. state------->after watching miss. state last week, they are atrocious.......they were 0-0 with a depleted tulane team who let the game avalanche late......do not forget that auburn was ranked in the top 5 preseason last year before USC ruined everything with the worst beating auburn has ever taken.........auburn still has 2 great rb's and i am gonna guess tuberville is one of those coaches who probably cannot handle a good pre-season ranking but does fine when not expected to do much........auburn should rush for 400 yards and score defensively in a blowout
10* North Texas (-7.5) vs Florida Atlantic----->FAU is a pretty good team returning 20 starters from last year........i wacthed the entire game where they beat hawaii and they played their asses off while hawaii was overly confident and looked stupid..........north texas has a solid defense and is looking to forget last week's 65-0 game (which could have been 165-0)....traveling from boca raton to hawaii and then to texas is way too much for a team off both an emotional win, and the prospects of facing this new hurricane (i live in florida and unless you are here, you cannot imagine how bad this all is) is too much for this team
10* UCF (+21) vs. west virginia----> i am one of those idiots who does think west virginia will win 10 games this year but this is a very bad spot coming down from morgantown to blisteringly hot and humid orlando.........UCF played better than the score indicates against wisconsin showed............also, do not forget that last week, UCF played without its coach (george o'leary) who will be back here for the home opener in a game west virginia better be careful with..........should be about a 10-14 point game.......BEST STAT OF ALL TIME---->UCF's coaching staff is the highest paid coaching staff in the state of floirda, huh?????????????
10* Notre Dame (+12.5) vs. michigan--------> i can only wonder what percentage of this national media blasting notre dame actuall ywatched the BYU game..........ok, the first quarter, byu made them look like a high school team and from then on, notre dame played ok..........quinn is getting better each start and they have qwuality skill position players...........michigan has lost OUTRIGHT its last times as favorites in south bend and now michigan is asking a freshman to go in there and beat then.......michigan is talented enough to win by 40 but carr and company will be happy just to get out of this nightmare trap alive
5* Marshall (+16.5) vs. ohio state
5* Florida (-37) vs eastern michigan
5* texas (-12) vs. arkansas
3* Southern miss (+14) vs. nebraska
3* iowa state (+22) vs iowa
3* alabama (-12) vs ole miss
good luck, lets do better than last week
