like i said i drive thru there everyday and live below and above them.
they will stay close and dont be surprise if they win su.
mizzou has one ball player from what i read and see and remember troy has played close to most the big 12 competition on the road now they will have to come to where football is life here,lol not much else here and hell troy is like lucky if 30,000 population but they have one of the best fields in the country new style .
everyone will see it is jumping and the coach hasnt lost home opener in 14 yrs and they when was in lower division was top 1 or 2 teams every year for several years and remember okl come to bama and bama went there and almost won both games and with half the ballplayers cause of violations.
people dont realize how important fb is here., im not from here but it is a big deal and like stoops said when he left last year in bama, the people out west think they are into football they havent seen anything like here and thats what stoops said not me.

I just played Troy to win su (+375)

Didn't Missouri defense give up 400+yds to Ark ST last week

Uh-oh.....I'm on the opposite side of you TD. Yes, Troy has a very good defense, but their QB is awful. Completed only 42% of his passes last year with a 7/12 TD/INT ratio. They like to run the ball and Mizzou can stop the run, just not the pass. Troy has a solid D, but Missouri is very balanced and can throw the ball with Smith, and 3 very good running threats in Smith, Nash & Woods. I do think Troy is going to come out fired up, and I'll more than likely take them on a 1H wager.

Looking back on their home openers the last 3 years, they played Nicholls State (who finished 3-8 that year), Southern Utah (1-10), and SE Louisiana (5-7). Not quite the same caliber as an explosive Missouri team. I guess it comes down to what happens when you have a team that doesn't throw well vs. a team that can't defend the pass? Missouri should shut down their running game, but if Leak can have a good game, which he hasn't proven to me that he can, they have a shot. In TS's games vs. "big" teams last year (Kansas State, Minnesota, Marshall, Nebraska, Virginia), Leak was a combined 28 for 82, (a dreadful 34%) and 271 yards TOTAL....that's 54 yards a game. Not to mention 0 TDs and 3 INTs. I think if Missouri can score 24 points, which I think they can and will, they should cover.....but with the way I've picked games this year, you should feel pretty good about Troy State!!!

With you on Troy, I may just lay off the game altogether. G/L
