3 Wise Men MLB Report – Monday 9/6

3 Wise Men … We had a great week hitting our first 11 in a row and 16-3 overall in our selections … 22-6 all plays including high liners.

Fantasy Baseball Result: My team came from behind yesterday to win the final match 245 – 235 . Jake Westbrook pitched well enough to keep the lead going into last night’s game and held my opponent’s player Darin Erstad in check.
So a fantasy victory in my rookie year was very exciting but I don’t think George Steinbrenner will be calling in the near future.

All records are kept on the lines we post ... it's simpler and so far in the long run things are kinda balancing out. Sometimes the betting lines go up - other times they go down.

There were 32 teams - 16 matches each week in Fantasy.

It was real exciting last night - If Westbrook gives up a homer or 2 to Erstad things would have gotten pretty sticky.

Uh oh ... gotta go !!! Steinbrenner did call and I have him on hold . LOL

Ahh what the hell ... you're more important !!

When George calls back, and he will (he's relentless that way), tell him that you don't take the GM job unless Torre (spelled with two Rs) stays as long as he likes because that was the smartest thing he ever did. LOL.

Was Missouri at -32 when you posted it? How slow does kmann's CFB usually start? Do you know his CFB record for years prior to his terrific one last year? Thanks. RFC.

In the last 8 years--using what I call "the 11 attribute list" there has not been a losing season....The worst was +28 units, the best was last year at about +120....Usually about in the 3rd week it starts to take hold...about mid season it gets strong--
tail end of season--stronger---Bowl time...Real good to me every year....

I have started out worse than this before, thus a slower recovery rate, but catches up...I have also started out extremely well, stats change, and then faded....This start (bad as it may be---especially 4* plays) does not have me worried at all...If by the 3rd-4th week, I'm still struggling--beware...

I could use common sense, and not play the early weeks, but like I said, it has, on ocassion started strong...generally slow...

There are numerous --"many" times I disagree with the system, but I learned to leave my emotions out...My picks on a personal basis, aren't worth a damn...Example--I liked Purdue---system didn't.....you know what I mean....

Thanks for the inquiry---you may want to lay off me for the first three-four weeks, you'll see when the transition starts...It will catch up to itself....kmann....lol to you
