Tennessee at Dallas

Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher has indicated that his starters may get more work in the preseason finale against Green Bay on Friday than tonight in Dallas. Starting quarterback Steve McNair is expected to play the opening quarter and veteran backup Billy Volek will take over in the second.

Jason Gesser will move under center in the third quarter. Fourth-string signal-caller Robert Kent was released this week.

Starting cornerback Samari Rolle, who has been slowed by an ankle injury, might get his first action of the preseason tonight by playing a few series.

Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and punter Craig Hentrich are out with injuries. Also, defensive end Travis LaBoy, the team’s second pick this past April, will miss his third straight game with concussion-related symptoms.

Offensive lineman Matt Martin is out with a bum right ankle. Fisher, though, has been pleased with is offensive line’s performance in preseason.

Running back Chris Brown has rushed for 107 yards on just 16 carries in two games.

Running back Jarrett Payton will be a game-time decision.

Fisher has not been pleased with his special teams through the first two preseason games. He also wants to see rookie defensive end Antwan Odom step up his level of play.

Dallas coach Bill Parcells has indicated his starters, including quarterback Vinny Testaverde, will play into the third quarter. He did not indicate as to whether Drew Henson or Tony Romo would follow Testaverde under center. Henson, though, will take some snaps tonight.

Parcells has said that the 40-year-old Testaverde needs to get as much work as possible before the season opener.

New Dallas running back Eddie George, who is Tennessee’s all-time leading rusher, will play his first game in Texas Stadium as a member of the Pokes. In two games he’s rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries. But, 23 of those yards came on one carry in last week’s game versus Oakland.

Defensive tackle Chad Eaton, who was signed on Wednesday, will play tonight. Parcells wants to see improved effort from his team’s run defense. In the first halves against Houston and Oakland, Dallas permitted 122 yards on 30 carries.

There are depth issues in the secondary, too. Neither Pete Hunter nor Jemeel Powell has grabbed the starting right corner spot, as Hunter will start his second game there this evening.

Looking for EXEC's FB

Anybody gonna have access to Executive Sportsline's FB this year? After bitching till I'm blue in the face, I can't talk my consensus into providing EXEC this year. Apparently, there was some kind of war between the service and Brian at EXEC and they aren't covering him. That really sucks since this year he is releasing a key play (400%+) on Friday night instead of waiting till Saturday. If anyone is gonna have it, please let me know...If not I'll go ahead and pony up the $600 for the year. FYI, he had the worst year in 10 years last year so he is discounting his season cost from his usual $1,295.

Please advise. If I need to buy it and anyone wants to chip in...that too would be appreciated.

i dont know if my consensus will have them or not i will email them and find out ok?
if u r going to sign up with them and if u cant post them every week i will try to see if i cna help out some small way if possible cause i woudl love to have their plays also and be assured to have every one of their plays if its ok, but i will let u know if the consensus i got this year will have them cause i just got done paying for a consensus also.

Appreciate that. If you can find out and post on the days service plays thread, that'd be great. If you can't get EXEC, we'll find some way to do this. I can't believe he'll have two off seasons in a row. If he does, it'll be the firsttime

i used to have the consensus from cresson,pa i had them the first couple of years they were in service used to talk to the owner all the time i dont think he had many subscribers back then cause he knew my voice when i called .lol
thats was a hell of a long time ago i think like '83 or round there hell i was in high school.lol
