Today the National Sports Advisors look for Phoenix to easily cover as -6.5 point favorites tonight, when they matchup with the LA Clippers in Phoenix tonight.
The Suns entered the All-Star break on a three-game winning streak after defeating Chicago last Monday in overtime. G Stephon Marbury, who scored six of the Suns' 10 points in overtime, recorded his fourth 30-point game in the last six contests. The win improved the Suns record to 29-21 overall and 20-4 at home.
The Clippers went into all star break riding a four game losing streak, after dropping an 89-80 outcome in Detroit last wednesday. Only one starter, F Elton Brand, reached double figures for the Clippers, who lost for the seventh time in eight games. Brand scored 18 points but grabbed only six rebounds, snapping a streak of 10 straight games with a double-double. The road losses continue to pile up for the Clippers, who enter tonight's game with a dismal 7-17 road record.
So why PHOENIX? Well, Phoenix has dominated the Clippers this season. They are 3-0 straight up and against the spread versus LA, including a 108-95 win in Phoenix on December 27. Look for more of the same to continue tonight with Phoenix covering the number

The Marcus Fizer injury to the Bulls really hurt in this matchup against a very physical Detroit squad. The Pistons were amazing before the break with four straight victories including a 52-point blowout at Boston and a 22-point pasting at home against New Jersey. Chicago lost five in a row before the half-way point of the season and we oppose them here despite five consecutive wins in their own building. The Pistons are 16-6 ATS after allowing 85 points or less in their previous game this season. Detroit is 5-1 ATS on the road this year when the posted total is between 180 and 189 ½. Chicago is 20-40 ATS at home after back-to-back cover since ’96. The Bulls collapsed defensively on their recent west coast trip allowing 115 at Phoenix (OT), and 102 at Denver. Who would believe Detroit would be 32-15 this year without Jerry Stackhouse? The Pistons are a ! tough 17-5 ATS this year if there were 175 points or less in their last game. That’s good enough for us. 3* Detroit.
