I know that there are a lot of good cappers on this sight.I really appreciate all of their help,too!I was wondering,though,if there are any good capping services out there that aren't scammers!I would really like to find one that is half way consistent and not going to cost me an arm and leg.Is there such a thing?
I know what you are going to say!Why don't you do it yourself?Because I suck at it!!!!!!!!I would just like to make a profit this year in football!!If anyone can help I would appreciate it !

By your own admission there's lots of good cappers at this site. They why do you want to pay? Do you feel you'll get better selection because you pay? YOU WON'T!

Do yourself a huge favor. Forget the paid services. Take the $100 you are willing to spend each week and follow some of the members of this site. Who offer their selections for FREE.

I guarantee you'll be ahead after the end of the football season. Hell, you'll be ahead saving $1700 over the regular season in the NFL that you won't be paying a service.

With most members from this site you'll get their true record. Not the BS you get from the paid services. Also, you won't be inundated with GOM and GOY type BS. Just this week Big Al has had 3 GOY selections.

I totally agree with frankb03. My big mistake over the years is trying to hit that one big game versus following the cappers on here and playing their plays consistenly for the same number of units they do. If you stay disciplined, you WILL WIN with these cappers!

business but I believe 90+% of them are monetary cesspools awaiting your deposit! If you were to try one.....maybe give Dave (or aka WARRIOR a shot)....he has posted freebies on here that have been good and is willing to help and for everything I have seen appears above board and puts out a ton of great free information on just one game or two.

Take a look at his take on the Colts tonight for one example! I have no idea if his winning stats are accurate or verified but on the other hand have no reason to doubt them. I AM NOT promoting him or anyone else but if you MUST spend your hard earned money on one....wellllll....your call. Most of the rest I would avoid like the PLAGUE or read them in the Services sections so you can see when they are all on one game and fade them.....you should make a tidy profit doing only just that! So why pay?

My honest opinon though would be to just pick a couple here that are very reliable and CONSISTANTLY put out winners on stable picks with just a handfull of plays or sometimes just one such as:

John from EZ Winners or just take Shorties 10* Alerts or a Homer 10*. I only name a couple as their ARE A LOT A TALENTED PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY DO A LOT OF HOMEWORK ON A PLAY.....just look at some of krunch's write ups for example......sooooo

There is no handicapper in the country that will win 70% of their picks over an entire season. (Every once in a blue moon in a SINGLE sport you may find a capper that does)

As to what you should be willing to pay it boils down to how many plays a capper releases and how MUCH you are planning on betting to see if it makes any economic sense. Realize that the fewer plays released SHOULD increase the win % (nice theory but not always true)

So assume two services that issue
A 5 plays Say 60% win
B 10 plays Say 55% win

Apply a good REALISTIC win rate subtract the juice you pay for the losers multiply it by your anticipated bet size and subtract the cost of the service.

i have a service, and i can SURELY state that hitting the 70% is next to impossible.

i had huge success this year in soccer, and with just over 200 plays i hit 67%. my record was 155W-73L +117*units, as the year goes the % will just keep dropping despite the fact that i will MOST LIKELY continue to add units*.

for fun, in cbb i play only 2-5 game teasers, so my % of winners is high but my units are alot lower, even then with 150 played games my % was under 70%. 102W-49L +50.25*units(again i do this for my own amusement, and WOULD never be able to hit 70%). IT JUST DOESN "T EXIST.

With all the winning information at bettorschat and other forums, it doesn't make sense to pay for a service.

What some of the others are referring to regarding me is actually a tipsheet. A lot of people who won't pay a service will buy a sheet or two to help aid them in making their selections.

There are a number of them out there. Marc Lawrence's sheet is pretty decent with his 4 and 5* games and is fairly consistent--and it won't cost you much at all.

Also, the handicapping TV shows offer FREE picks and usually do pretty good when there is a consensus. Lawrence and others actually use their winning record on their TV show to promote their service.

Having been in this for nearly 25 years, I'll tell you something that a lot of people overlook:

Some of the Services stronger plays are given out FREE. Free in their sheets and TV shows and stuff like that. It makes sense for them to win those games so that you'll join their service.

You may not get their BEST game, but you'll probably get their second or third best pretty often in their shows. That's one of those best kept secrets in the biz. Some do that, some don't.

I did some threads on winning cappers here at b-chat. I haven't had time to do any more of them lately, but there are plenty of members at b-chat that have been here long enough to aid you in who to follow.

Having said all that, yes, there is a market out there full of professionals (doctors, lawyers, etc.) who play a LOT of money on games and look for exactly what you are looking for and rarely find it.

There are a few good cappers out there that cater to that market. Unfortunately, by the time these high rollers (who have no time to do their own games or research) find the right capper to meet their needs, they're probably broke and cynical because of all the fraud in the business.

Find out who's good at this site and other sites for free, that's your best bet--no pun intended.
