I've told Homer, ez winners, and wizz before. I'm not a "High Roller" that bets a ton on any individual game. I work for a living but i love sports and i love action. I would rather bet a bunch of games that add up to $1,000 rather than one game for a $1,000. I like action and i feel i can make more money by playing the numbers game each day and winning more than i lose for a net profit. I can go a week straight losing my big play and still make money by having the lower rated plays carry the load. This is the wagering system i use for my listed wagers most of the time. Of course during hot and cold streaks i add a little or back off some....................

As you can see my unit $ amounts vary based on the sport and my confidence in wagering on that particular sport.

I'm sure it seems like peanuts to alot of people here but if you add up all the wagers here on a daily basis you would see it adds up to quite a bit (for me anyway). I know people here that bet thousands p/game and others that bet $5 per game. It doesn't matter to me, it's all about what you can afford to lose and we don't want anyone leaving the wife and kids out to dry over this sometimes expensive habit/hobby/job/addiction. We all fit into 1 of those 4 (IMO) :D

I know, probably more info than you wanted right! ........ Sorry, i had time on my hands and wanted to explain! :D

Wayne-thanks for the candid explanation of your rating system.
One has to choose ratings/ amounts which fits his/her own comfort zone.
I am roughly in the same boat as you;my sleep and sanity are more important than what I can win/lose on an individual game.
It is a lot easier for me to invest $5000 or more in a stock than to say wager 400-500 on a game because in the former for the most part there is no time limit, and I can live with the ups and downs.
The most important thing is that we all want to win no matter what our own individual scalesand goals are.
