Sammy sucks. Don't know what the big controversy is over him batting 4th. IMO he shouldn't even be playing. Dusty just doesn't have the cocoNUTS to bench him.

Who would we replace Sosa with in the lineup? Goodwin? Macias? No thank you. Even with a bad year Sosa is putting up numbers that those 2 could never do in a full season. Its not a question of Baker being a coward, he just isn't stupid.

give the guy a break......he gets paid to hit HR and hes doing just that with almost 30 and he missed some major time

also hes not gettin any younger.....Im not a CUB fan but I know enough that hes one of the streakiest hitters in the league and he can knock out 7 bombs in a week at any time

                  PEACE

                    You got it MCP.....

But it is amazing to me how we could still stick up for a cheater and a drug user... someone who has blatantly cheated and then lied and blamed the media after he got busted putting cork in his bat....

I will say no more except we do not need him on our team... he is a cancer!!!!!

I hope he overdoses on roids and ends up a large angry psycho with large tits

                            BTW
He costs his team more than he brings in with bad fielding and selfish play at the plate.
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Sosa is overrated... Although Sosa has comparable production numbers since the break to before it , he has endured a steep decline in the all-important batting average category. He batted .279 in the season's first half, but has since seen that mark go south along with his spot in the Chicago batting lineup. This is the third straight year in which Sosa's batting average has dipped 43 or more points after the All-Star break, but this time, his .227 mark represents his lowest in any half-season in 13 years. He'll turn 36 in November, so it's possible his recent struggles indicate the beginning of a career decline.
