In the 5 games played between the 2 clubs this year, here's the stats breakdown!
Royals 16 runs--44 hits--9 errors--4 HR's--1 3B--10 2B's
Angels 30 runs--49 hits--0 errors--4 HR's--0 3B-- 8 2B's
Royals relief pitching; 12 2/3 innings, allowing 14 runs
Angels relief pitching; 11 innings, allowing 3 runs
From what I've capped, the Royals actually had 3 quality starts from their starting pitchers in 3 of the 5 games, but as the old saying goes, bad teams find a way to lose games and good teams find a way to win games! The Royals made a bunch of late inning errors and their bullpen has pretty much coughed it up!
Some of the Royals starters are really struggling against the Angels pitching also!
