Monday NCAA Hoops....(Another 5 STAR play)

Have another 5 STAR play in hoops tonight! After cashing in the 5 STAR play on Notre Dame yesterday, the 5 STAR record for all sports now stands at 56-33-2 (62.9%). These are my two plays for tonight.



5 STAR: CONNECTICUT (-3) OVER Syracuse
Home teams as a favorite of 6 points or less after a win by 15 points or more are 350-256 (57.8%) against the spread.


3 STAR: Oklahoma (+4.5) OVER TEXAS
Oklahoma is 22-10 against the spread in road games after scoring 80 points or more since 1997. The Sooners have won eight straight meetings against Texas.

Just a note on the Tx-Ou game. I'm a Horn fan, so take this for
what it's worth. If you're inclined to play the OU side, IMO, play
the money line. All of Texas' losses have come down the stretch
at crunch time. Most of their wins are by 10+ points. The mental
edge is enormous on OU's side presently. The Horns will cover
this spread or lose. I just don't think they win a close game.

I am a Horns fan myself, and I could not agree more. I think OU wins this one outright, even though I hate to say it!
