PHILS
Phillies are 7-1 in last eight road games, as visitor is 16-2 in their last eighteen games Brewers lost nine of last eleven games at home and thirteen of last seventeen contests overall. Take the Phills
The Tigers have already won 15 more games than they did
all of last year, and continue to pile up huge profits against
righthanders (+$2020, with 5.5 runs per game). They should
make short work of the inept Gil Meche (-$655, 5.63 ERA) and
a Seattle team that has lost a staggering amount of their backers' money in 2004 (-$3355). Detroit has won 9 of Mike Maroth's 10 starts at home (+$1005) and his ERA in those games is only 2.72. It will be hard for the Mariners to summon up much motivation as this disappointing season winds down.
