  • Sec :

In the Southeastern Conference this season , as far as my wagering goes ( Futures) its really hard to overlook the Georgia Bulldogs on shear talent alone . Of major concern is her schedule which along with many periodicals I agree its a very tough one this season .

Of interesting note is a small and often overlooked trend that the SEC has shown for 6 years in a row now . Since 1992 when the SEC went to a divisonal seperation , 5 of the 12 schools have won the title , 5 of the 12 also won the championship game .

Heres the gist , in those six years LSU , Georgia , Florida , Alabama , and Tennessee all won thier titles "after" losing thier bowl game the previous season . The losers last year were the Gators & the Vols ?

    More to ensue :

That bowl result scenario should change soon

Florida or Tenn could win division if GA slips up and loses to LSU and Auburn (possible). GA also has a difficult game at Arkansas. GA will beat both Tenn and Fla but still lose the division!

LSU: Early Doucet at this time in fall practice is the heralded frosh WR to keep your eye on (vs. X. Carter). this guy is very polished for a rookie and will see considerable playing time

also, LSU's D looks as good as last year's group. the D is dominating the O in practice.
