  • Wayne's Grand Slam Plays

Really like Wayne's Grand Slam Plays. It's no secret that they are trustworthy, but for newer members and lurkers, here's your favorite moderator's numbers on his "Grand Slam" baseball plays.

During the first 60 days or so Wayne limited his Grand Slams to just a handful as would be expected, posting 5 games in about 55 days for an average of 1 game every 11 days or so.

Since the week of May leading up to Memorial Day Weekend--when the boys of summer get cranked up--Wayne has posted 47 plays in 80 days, or an average of 1 play every 1.7 days.

The plays are tasty with many of them getting money back (2-team parlays) with strong winning teams w/ace pitchers on the mound. That's appealing.

Or, if not a parlay, Wayne often takes a strong winning team w/ace pitcher on the runline, thus, again, often getting money back with the strong team. That's pretty smart, but the heck with the runline right?

Out of 18 runline plays, the lay of 1.5 only made in difference 1 time. Seventeen out of 18 times when the team won the team covered. That's pretty juicy considering the huge advantage in the lay.

I always put a lot of weight to the return on risk. Waynes' ROR on his baseball games rated "Grand Slam" or higher (he went 2-0 on 10-star and 1-0 on 15-star) is a very strong 26.78%. You would not ordinarily find ROR's this high. With nearly fifty games under the belt this season, it's obvisous that Wayne is one to follow in baseball when it comes to his top-rated plays.

Here's the lowdown since they Week of Memorial Day:

    Plays: 47
    Wins: 29
    Losses: 18
    Net: +13.60 Net Games
    risk: 50.79
