Without a doubt..........he took teams to SB that didnt really have top tier talent........look at the broncos sb teams in 86(Giants) 89(49ers) 87(redskins).........If you really think about those teams they just had average players. I dont think I can think of anybody from those teams as impact players. He also had a coach in Reeves who really never had much of a running game.

Watch his highlights at Stanford and his early NFL years when he had all his mobility........He absolutely made some of the defenders look silly trying to get to him...........running to his left or right and throwing 60 some yards down the field......AMAZING.......

He is easily in my top 5 greatest QB's of all time and maybe #1

Yes - He's got the 3 necessary attributes. Physical and Mental toughness ... and a Burning Desire to win.

              A great QB but..........

Elway had both the nerve and gall to refuse the team that drafted him #1 (Indianapolis Colts). It is my opinion that he should have been honored that they drafted him #1. He should have gladly played for the Colts.

I have no respect for Eli Manning either because he opened his big mouth before the draft that he didn't want to play for the SD Chargers.

NO ONE PLAYER IS BIGGER THAN THE GAME!!

              Sincerely,
              Bennojd

He still would've been a QB who went to five. Jim Kelly led his Bills to four...that's a great QB.
