        ----------------------------------
*Toronto (-115) vs. Cleveland (Towers vs. Westbrook)

Josh Towers has been on a tear lately (most recently 4-0 with a 2.60 ERA). The Jays are 9-1 (+7.8 Units) against the money line when playing against a team with a losing record over the last 3 seasons when Towers starts. Westbrook is just 2-4 on the road this season. The Indians are 1-7 (-6.6 Units) against the money line in road games when the money line is +125 to -125 with Westbrook at the helm this season. One unit on Toronto.

                  San Diego -130 over Philly

Eaton hasn't pitched quite as well of late but still the Padres have won two of his three starts. It's just a matter of time before Bowa gets fired. They have lost six of eight and he probably won't make it past the West coast trip. Padres have hit lefties well all year. Padres .283 this year against lefties. Big edge to the Padres bullpen. The Phillies bullpen ERA over the last 10 games is 6.93.

                    VEGAS SPORTS AUTHORITY FREE PICKS!

                    Wednesday’s Pick from James Kruger

“Everything Is Out-of-Date in Kansas City”

Injuries keep plaguing the KC Royals as Tuesday they lose two more starters to injuries, 2b Tony Graffanino and former All-Star, Mike Sweeney. KC has now used 50 players this season.

To make matters worse, KC sp Brian Anderson has now lost 9 straight starts, the team eleven straight in which he started. His ERA at home is 8.86 and his overall disaster rate is a very high 53%, (league average 25%).

The White Sox have won 8 out of their last ten played in KC and are third in the AL in slugging percentage against lefties. And, you guessed it, the Royals are last in slugging percentage against lefties at .373, exactly 100 points lower than the White Sox.

The only thing up to date in Kansas City is yesterday the public finally voted on building a new arena in downtown KC, something that should have happened fifteen years ago.

Needless to say, Vegas Sports Authority has played the White Sox -135 behind lefty Schoeneweis over the Royals.

                                JEFF BENTON

Are you kidding me with this free pick run? With Boston Monday and Texas last night, I am now on a 7-2 my last 9 and 29-12 last 41.

This whole summer has been fun. Winning money, making you money.

Lets go to Houston for the Braves and the Astros. I like Thomson to win his 4th straight start tonight.

Thomson is 2-0 in his last four outings and hasn't lost since July 3 versus Boston. The righthander tossed six innings in a no-decision at Pittsburgh last Thursday. He is red hot and the Braves are red hot going 9-0-2 in their last 11 series. I like them to bounce back tonight.

Pete Munro toes the rubber tonight for the Astros. The righthander is 1-0 in his last three appearances and last time out didn't get a decision by throwing five innings in a contest at Cincinnati. Munro doesn't have a decision in four career relief efforts against Atlanta and overall just 1-6 his last 7.

Considering the Braves lost last night and they have not lost a series since June, I like them to bounce back big today.
