I find it semi interesting they lost tonight on the road with Ortiz going and now they have a pseudo hack in Thompson pitching the 2nd game and YET THEY ARE FAVORED AT HOUST......Looks like the answer is two fold in that Houston is forced to start the OVER MACHINE Redding again and the Braves did rest one of their big RBI men last night. I look for the Braves offense to get this game into the 6th plus inning with a 2 run lead and let the pen try to hold. Houston does not have that luxury. BEWARE though....Thompson used to get hit hard and often and may revert into Redding form so the OVER would maybe have a nice value here as well!

Sele is the WORST 6-0 pitcher in MLB right now and a righthander in the homerdome is close to suicide right now the way Minn is hitting! (I can say that because there probably ARE NO OTHER 6-0 PITCHERS right now) !

"Bear or Bare" in mind the Twins are 13-9 as a team when Lohse starts so this is a nice chance to win a PLUS money wager!@

Toss in the over as one of these two are going to get crushed looking at their stats and I believe it will be Sele!

Look for the Rocks to get into his head in one BIG inning to blow him out of the game and the mid point boys not to lower their eras in Coors field either......only fly here is if the game is on the line in the ninth and my nemisis "SHAWNEE SHECHICKEN SHECLONE" is called upon to give up a game losing Grand Slam with a 3 run lead.

GV. Don't know if you saw Frankb03's post here about Houston's pitching change from Redding to Munro. Because I don't know how much of your plays and pitchers are based on your memory these days I'm writing the following just in case.

Munro has had only 4 starts at home, but he has been good allowing only 24 baserunners in 25 innings with a 2.45 ERA. However, Thompson hasen't been even a "pseudo hack" on the road his last three starts going 6.2, 7.0 and 6.0 innings and giving up 2, 2 and 1 earned run. I don't know if any of this changes your 4* play in any way. I still like Atlanta just as much although FWIW I'm staying away from the over.

GoldVike, I hope I didn't confuse anything posting this, but as I said, I didn't know if you were aware of the above info. I hope you start getting the good news you hope to hear about your Mom soon and that your posts here are giving you the escape you so badly need right now.

Acevado I believe has not won but maybe one road game all year long according to the Reds announcers last week! He has been getting shelled unmercifully. Add the Reds miserable bullpen to it and viola! A chance at these two but the Reds do have to win sometime and Tomko was Great in July but did get hoovered his last outing so hopefully won't match Acevado tonight!

Been over a week since I could update my record but we should be wayyy over 100+ Units by now with some big plus unit days in a row! Will try and get to that shortly as mom is turning the corner for the good.
