NFL Pre Season Trends :

Carolina: Play ON vs. the NFC - 10-0, 100% ATS

Cincinnati: Play AGAINST after scoring 28 points or more - 9-0, 100% ATS

Buffalo: Play AGAINST after allowing 7 points or less - 7-0, 100% ATS

New York Jets: Play ON after scoring 10 points or less - 5-0, 100% ATS

Chicago: Play AGAINST after a S/U Win - 9-1, 90.0% ATS

Detroit: Play ON after winning 2 or more in a row S/U - 7-1, 87.5% ATS

Jacksonville: Play ON vs. the AFC - 7-1, 87.5% ATS

New Orleans: Play ON first two pre-season games - 12-2, 85.7% ATS

Indianapolis: Play AGAINST at Home off of S/U Home Win - 10-2, 83.3% ATS

St. Louis: Play ON after scoring 28 points or more - 5-1, 83.3% ATS

Green Bay: Play AGAINST as favorites after S/U Home Win - 9-2, 81.8% ATS

In 2003 Carolina’s ATS record vs the NFC was 5 won and 7 lost. Either there are words missing or this is an old trend from the years before and never updated.
Lost ATS to:
New orleans 19-13(L-7)
Washington 20-17 (L-6
Dallas 20-24 ( L3)
Philly 16-25 (L-1.5)
Atlanta 14-20 (L-1)
Arizona 20-17 (L-7)
Detroit 20-14 (L-8)

You raise a very valid point here as far as regular season is concerned , be we are talking pre-season here and in no way did they play 12 games in that span

Washington is 3-0 in Hall of Fame games. The Redskins beat the Lions, 20-3 (1965), the Cincinnati Bengals, 17-9 (1975), and the Buffalo Bills 31-6 (1989).

Denver is 1-1 in their two visits to Canton. The Broncos beat the Lions 10-7 in 1976 and then lost to Detroit, 14-3 in 1991.
