    GOOD LUCK krunch!!

I have a small non-posted play on SF as everyone I talked to local is on San Diego! This is much the same as the Minn/CWS game. Peavy is 2-0 vs the Giants this year winning both games by a total of 18-1 and both at SF. Below is one particular write up excerpt (this one from CBSSL) which explains a ton of the SD action.

Not many people have dominated Barry Bonds and the San Francisco Giants the way San Diego starter Jake Peavy has.

Peavy looks to continue his amazing success as the Padres host the Giants for three games at Petco Park.

San Diego has won eight of its last 11 games and is tied with San Francisco in second place in the NL West. Both teams trail the Los Angeles Dodgers by 3½ games.

San Diego is hoping Peavy can give them another quality outing against the Giants on Monday.

The Padres right-hander has had a breakout season, holding opponents to two runs or less in 12 of his 13 starts.

"I'm getting better," said Peavy, who is 7-3 with a 2.25 ERA. "From 2002 and 2003 I think I'm getting better and smarter. Having a good team around me is nice."

Peavy has not allowed more than four runs in any of his 13 starts this season, and he's given up just one run in 21 innings against the Giants.

The 23-year-old pitched a gem on Wednesday against San Francisco, allowing one run and four hits in eight innings to earn a 7-1 over the Giants. Peavy held Giants slugger Barry Bonds hitless in four at bats.

Bonds is 4-for-13 with two home runs lifetime against Peavy, but the All-Star slugger only 1-for-6 against him this season.

        Gold Vike

thats an interesting article you have there buddy! Yea, I know Peavy has been tough on the Giants so far this year, but these are professional athletes here and thats were good coaching comes into plays! Watching film and seeing what mistakes you made against your opponent. This is a dog race in the National League West and I look for Bonds to show up tonight! Time will tell, but thanks for showing the article!
