          from his website:

          Play On: Texas -125

Texas is 24-7 at home versus RHP in 2004, averaging 6.6 RPG, and hitting .313 as team. Ryan Drese is 7-1 in his 2004 home team starts with a 2.08 ERA. Anaheim starter Kelvim Escobar has struggled to get run support recently and is 1-7 in his last 8 team starts. Escobar is 2-8 in his July team starts. Texas as a small favorite at home with good supporting data is a good value. Play on Texas -125.

                JULY: 10-7

My freebie run is now 19-8 last 27 days. Lets go to Philly tonight.

Kind of like Kevin Millwood tonight. Just having a hard time believing the Marlins can win a game that AJ Burnett pitches. I mean, look at these numbers.

He has just one win (1-4) in nine starts since returning from the disabled list. Last time on the hill, Burnett was roughed up for nine hits and five runs over five innings, while fanning five and not walking anyone. Burnett has been particularly bad on the road this year, going 0-4 with an 8.06 ERA. I know the Marlins have played Philly really tough this year but that winning streak ends tonight.

The Phillies can only hope that Kevin Millwood will build on his recent momentum tonight. Millwood had his most impressive outing in nearly a month and a half last Friday, as he held the Mets to three hits and a run over seven innings. All told, Millwood is 3-0 over his past six starts and hasn't lost since June 12.

I look for Philly to take that momentum from last nights come from behind win over Atlanta and keep it going tonight.

                  SGH

We're on a 74-40-2 run with our last 116 complimentary releases including a win with 13 of the last 17 releases after the Mets choked it again.

For Wednesday take Detroit to beat Kansas City.

Kansas City is a morbid 12-30 on the road this season.

Detroit is 6-1 in Maroth's seven home starts this season. Maroth is 6-7 with a 4.65 ERA which is better than his counterpart Darrell May who is 7-9 with a 5.15 ERA.

Both hurlers are lefties and the Tigers hit .277 against southpaws while the Royals are only hitting .243.

Kansas City has all but given up for the season. The Tigers 44-49 record would be a disappointment for most teams but having already eclipsed last year's win total this team considers 2004 a success.

Detroit gives Kansas City a royal beating.

                      JULY: 9-6

                      Complimentary Selections
                      ----------------------------------
*NY Yankees -1.5runs (-130) vs. Toronto (Vazquez vs. Hentgen)

Hengten has been brutal this season, a sign that retirement may finally be on the horizon for the ancient righty. Over his last three starts, he is 0-3 with a 15.83 ERA and has only gone 9.2 innings. His AHW per nine is a whopping 25.1 per nine innings. The Yanks are 10-0 (+10.0 Units) against the money line in home games vs. a starting pitcher whose winning percentage is worse than 30% since 1997. Vazquez is 21-4 (+13.9 Units) against the money line as a home favorite of -150 or more over the last 3 seasons. He's held hittters to .184 batting average at home. He's also 16-2 (+12.7 Units) against the money line in home games when playing against a team with a losing record over the last 3 seasons. One unit on the Yanks minus the runs in this contest.
