Got a few extra minutes today so have a chance to post a few evening plays....buyer beware though....Had a big play on Oakland today and they are scoreless in like the 180th inning vs the lowly Tonto Jays and a small play on the Brewers:
5* METS -155
A very very rare time that I will lay this heavy chalk on a 5 star play but with Bump in an emergency start and the team admitting they would love to get 3 or 4 innings only out of him and they are going to try several pitchers tonight. This vs Trachel who has absolutely owned the Fish....even when Florida was playing well. Add the revenge of last nights loss to this and I like the chances for a win here.
2* CWS -108
Normally would be a higher play with the hack Wasdin going for Tex but the Pale Panties have shown they take a night off following a big run explosion. Garland has been pitching good his last couple of outings but again this is the Rangers offense at home and he can revert back to his gas can status of last year.
2 * LAD -102
I know they have to lose sometime (so did the DRAYS on their run) and Houston has to break the slump sometime...but...Weaver and the entire Dodger staff has been very good and they certainly have had the bats to back them. THE TWINS on the other hand have Balfour..wait...what the hell am I saying you say?? Yes, The Twins KEPT Balfour (hack pitcher) but thought more of him and OURIGHT RELEASED MUNRO who was only picked up by Houst to fill in spots. Mismatch city pitching tonight BUT A LOT of runs would not surprise me!

Wright AND the Braves are playing way over their heads right now. Philly hit the ball hard everywhere last night but right at Braves. Wright had a great outing but that was the EXPOS...UNCLE MILTY for Philly should be able to hold the braves down to 4 runs or so through 6 or 7 to give the Philly bats time to get at Wright. Plus Smoltz can never do squat vs these guys for some reason!

Why is this line so high. The Twins HAVE NOT scored more than 4 runs total in like any of their last 8 games! The pitchers! Bonderman has been owned by the Twins....Lohse is having an unexpected reverse year. Expect the Tigers to get to Kyle but the Twins to light up the cumbersome Bonderman. Lohse has the ability to toss a shutout like he did at the dome last homey stand BUT he can also be just as likely to be shelled if his curve ball isn't finding the corners.
