I actually like the Florida pick better than the Red Sox pick.
From what I can see Anaheim clearly has a better balanced, better managed and more motivated team than the Sox, and I believe Sox have defeated them only once this season.
I hope Sox win of course but I can't put money on them on the road as a favorite especially against Anaheim, Schilling or no Schilling.
I have a strong sense this team with Francona at the helm is not going anywhere this year,

savage i agree, their struggling BUT this is why they got Schilling....... to stop the bleeding in times like this and Lackey is a perfect pitcher to do it against, plus Manny should be back in the lineup today.

Savage i am really upset about this years team. Everyone i know is ready to throw in the towel. Millar sucks and so does D. Lowe. What a disappointing year!

Francona is no day at the beach either! makes real good sense-put together a good team and then hire a manager with a .440 winning percentage to manage it.
As I have said before, it kind of reminds me of taking your 2000 say Honda Accord, which has 80000 miles and starting to have mechanical problems (Grady Little) and then trading it even up for a 1996 Accord with 140000 miles on it with a lot more mechanical problems(Francona).
The overall point is that even if you didn't like Little, he did have a nice winning percentage unlike Francona with 4 bigtime losing seasons.

Well a solid day in bases splitting the top 4 plays and making money. The triples and doubles are also 2-1 with the 2nd half of the seattle parlay the only thing pending. On a nice run winning 2 wagers on the All-Star game and turning a profit every day since (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in bases.

May Monday bring us more Gambling adventures!
