The ump that's behind the plate is 10-8 over-under this year. The average runs scored in games he umps is over 11. I saw someone on another forum post that he had been pretty kind to Maddux in the past. But 6.5 and given the ump's overall stats? I think the over is a good play. Good luck today.

The wind is blowing straight in from center, the weather in Chicago is shitty today, and these teams haven't cracked 5 runs in each of their matchups this season. This number is right on the button, but too low to chance an under. I'll play over 6.5 or lay off.

I think of you all the time when i see how good St Louis is doing. I can't believe they are this good with that pitching staff and Morris not doing that great.

FYI

Betting the 'OVER' in games with the OU at 6 1/2 in 2003 would have been a BIG losing proposition.
