This has to be my low point of the baseball season, as the Pirates are being shutout by the Expos, against a failed closer making his first start of the season, playing in a little league stadium against the worst team in baseball.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

It has been a really rough week, but the best is yet to come. The second half of the season is always the best for me and if you told me I would be right around +30 units for the season at the all star break when the season started I would take it. That being said, I no it has been a very frustrating week, not only for myself but for most of the great cappers here. We need not be discouraged, remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint and with all the talent on this board we will all show a very handsome profit at the end of the season!!!

EZ, you have done a good job overall, and plus 30 something units before the break is exceptional. I have been following your plays from the start of your season, we had some bad breaks with some closers who could close in the begining of the season. You should be up way more than 30 man.

Keep up the exceptional work and I know you will hit the 100 unit mark by the end of the season!

John - I know exactly how you feel Buddy. It's so gut wrenching explaining away losses from the night before. The first Pitt - Montreal game of the series really took it out of me ... so much that I asked KMann to stand in for me for a while.
We feel this way because we care.

You're so right about the 2nd half of the season .... wonderful things are going to happen - we're going to earn lots of money for our friends.

Reverse the Curse

This is an appeal to the gambling gods to lift the curse on EZ...

Even though I am just a $10 player, I feel I have to 'fess up that I am the reason for the EZ tailspin. I decided to start gambling on-line back in May and came across EZ's site - rather than just immediately and blindly bet what he said, I tracked and waited. This culminated in a 4-day stretch ending May 17 where EZ would have won me $174. So I decided I was missing the boat - I started playing his games May 18 and immediately lost $79!!

But, undeterred, I hung in there. That loss has grown to $200+, and another $100 or so on CFL/Arena. This is my fault - when your favorite baseball team has one championship in 121 years (while the Florida Freakin' Marlins have 2 in 7!) and your favorite hockey team hasn't won the Cup since you were eight years old, what can you expect?

So, to the gambling gods...I will gamble no more for the remainder of July out of desire to see a change in fortunes (that and 'cause I'm broke)...REVERSE THE CURSE!!!

I can tell from the site that EZ is a good capper who's in a funk...this will hopefully lift the funk.
