Fridays Plays
Went 2-5 yesterday and lost 11.03 units. Lost a couple of close ones yesteday, Seattle and the Mets, could have been a positive day, but the close ones went against me. Onto tonights card!
Texas Benoit +1.41 for 10 units to win 14.10 units; The Red Sox are 28-14 at Fenway and 6 units in the black. Bronson Arroyo hasn't won in Boston since April. Arroyo is the biggest roadblock to Boston's success at home this season, but because the Sox have been so good at Fenway, they still get the chalk even with Arroyo's 1-6 home record. He hasn't won a game in his last 7 outings. Arroyo has suffered through some terrible hitting by his team mates. In each game during the winless streak, run support has been scarce, he's left the mound wiht the Red Sox's scores showing 0, 4, 0, 3, 0, 1, and 1.
Texas on the other hand has won 5 straight over the Red Sox dating back to last year. They are 9-6 in the 1st game of a road series. Benoit has won 2 of 3 starts against Boston, including a 3-2 victory at Fenway in 02 against D Lowe. Benoit is coming off an 18-3 clubbing victory over Andy Pettite and the Astros. I think Texas has the better hitting club here also, as shown by their .300 team batting average. Good luck on your decision to play this game or fade, but I'm putting my green on the Rangers.
