  • Friday Baseball and Canadian Football......

It has been a very rough week, going 1-2 on the bases yesterday and 0-1 in the CFL. Hopefully things will start to turn around today, these are my plays........

    MLB

2 STAR: TORONTO (-$126) OVER Anaheim
    (Roy Halliday vs. Bartolo Colon)

2 STAR: New York (+$133) OVER FLORIDA
    (Jae Seo vs. AJ Burnett)

2 STAR: Colorado (+$180) OVER SAN DIEGO
    (Shawn Estes vs. David Wells)

    2004 MLB RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 19-14 (+12.05 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 33-30 (-3.64 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 86-79-1 (+18.86 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 49-51 (+5.98 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 187-174-1 (+33.25 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be up $3325.00

    CFL

1 STAR: OVER 62 TOTAL POINTS
(Edmonton Eskimos @ British Columbia Lions)

    2004 CFL RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 1-1 (-0.5 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 1-2 (-3.6 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 2-1 (+1.8 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 1-3 (-2.3 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 5-7 (-4.6 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be down $460.00

    Good luck,
    John

          EZ,

You are still having a good season, and now is about the time you turn it back around!

I was wondering when you post your selections for the football season, the morning of the games or do you post them earlier. I'm in a football pool at work where we need to have both NCAA and NFL games in on Friday morning and I was hoping to tail you on a few.

          Thanks

          :D

Thanks guys, I look for a huge run after the all star break. I'm shooting for the 100 unit mark for the baseball season.

            .
            KC,

I usually don't have the football plays up until the night before. I could give you an idea of the games that I am looking at before I narrow them down if you shoot me an email earlier in the week.
            Good luck,
            John

              Football

              Thanks John,

              I would appreciate it!

Let's kick the man down for 3 days, take a break and come back for a great 2nd half.

John, I just heard that Piazza is going to take the night off tonight. Does that make a difference in your Mets play tonight?

GL to you and thanks for posting. I, among many, are grateful to you for all your hard work. Much appreciated.

                Mike

                  piazza

why should it? piazza is batting .115 lifetime (3/26) vs. burnett and is currently batting .167 with 2 rbi's in the last 10 games. never let one player missing out of the lineup in baseball deter you away from a play. basketball or a key player (QB/RB) in football can make a differnce but not in baseball. good luck

                    Ez

I know what your going through! I went from being hotter than a nun's tush to colder than an eskimo ladies feet walking around barefoot in her igloo! I was looking at the Rockies tonight myself, they have been playing decent since Walker's back in the lineup. Keep your head up high and keep grinding away, because when we turn this funk around were gonna start hitting the man hard again!

Sorry, late night at work. Did'nt get to respond, but Piazza was not a factor.
