We had a very nice day yesterday, hitting our banger alert for 10 units on the Braves, hitting the Indians and the A's and losing a small 2 unit play on the Orioles over 9. Went 3-1 and won over 14 units. Enough boasting, onto today's plays.
7:05 Toronto Bush at Expos L Hernandez -1.50/ over/under 9; The Blue Jays currently have a 9 gm road chop working, starting with their last gm W,L,W,L,W,L,W,L,W. Toronto is 2-6 on the year following a game they won/scored double digits and is also 3-5 favoring the under in the following game. In the 1 st game of a series with NL teams this year regarding the totals of the games, NL, Under 8, Under 7, Push 7, Under 10, and Under 9. They are just the opposite of last years 1st game of the series with National League teams; over 9 , over 8 1/2, over 10 1/2, over 9 1/2, and over 8. They always said that stats/trends have a way of evening out and looking at this stat you gotta believe it.
L Hernandez has won his last 2 starts and the Expos are 4-2 their last 6 games at Olympic Stadium. He has been very effective against right handed hitters this year, as they are only batting .229 against him with a low .278 OBP. Since the Blue Jays/Roy Halladay beat him twice last year with one total going over and one under, I'm playing the revenge factor here and taking the Expos -1.50 for 3 units to win 2 units and the game total under 9 -1.25 for 3.75 units to win 3 units. Hernandez did win 9-4 at Toronto in the earlier season meeting. My prediction, Expos 5 BLUE Jays 3
Still capping the games and will probably be back in this thread throughout the night. Starting a 9 day vacation, so its time to get some serious capping in!
