RUNNING FREE pulled a bit between foes early, stalked a bit off the rail, bid outside the pacesetter and took a short lead on the second turn, inched away into the stretch, drifted out under right handed urging but held on gamely.
DEVIL BADGETT settled between horses then a bit off the rail, moved up inside on the second turn, swung out four wide into the stretch and closed willingly.
DRAKE'S VICTORY chased outside a rival then a bit off the rail, found the fence on the second turn, split horses into the stretch, bid inside and continued willingly to the wire.
TARGET SHOOT three deep into the first turn, chased outside a rival then just off the inside, came out on the second turn and three wide into the stretch and also went on well to the end. TRUCKEE WARRIOR chased outside a rival then a bit off the rail early on the backstretch, continued outside into and on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the necessary late kick.
CASSIDY LOVES YOU allowed to settle outside, came three deep into the stretch and lacked the needed rally.
AZIYAN sped to the early lead, set the pace inside, dueled briefly inside the winner on the second turn and weakened.
FLY AND EAGLE squeezed at the start, settled inside, went around a rival into the second turn and lacked a further response inside.
EXCELLENTCHARACTER saved ground chasing the pace, dropped back on the backstretch and gave way.
