I'm glad to hear the drug rehab response. That usually means I'm on the right track. Last year I cannot begin to tell you how many people told me I was on crack when I openly and publicly predicted the Carolina Panthers to go to the Superbowl--a prediction made before the season began.
Same with the Pistons. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, told me how crazy I was for saying that the Pistons would be the Next NBA Champions. So thanks for confirming my thoughts....its always a good guage...
The Eagles are not going to the Superbowl. Is it possible? Well, of course. The are a good team. I do not think the additions of Kearse and Owens are the solution. Don't forget they suffered some losses too, and their additions are not guaranteed to mesh into a seemless game.
I also do not believe McNabb is the QB to get them there. The Coach is the right coach, but he may be entering that Marv Levy/Dennis Green zone where a change might be necessary if (when) the Owens/Kearse ploy doesn't work.
Reid is a fantastic coach. Dont' forget, all it took for the Bucs and Raiders was a coaching change; that doesn't mean they didn't have good coaches. Andy Reid is a good coach.
As far as the Eagles OVER/UNDER 9.5, well, to me there are better plays on the board. That's a volatile play. I mean think about it. Are you REALLY gonna go UNDER 9.5 with the Eagles??? Even getting back +185???
I would hope not. Having said that, I would be very careful not to take the OVER either. After losing their 3rd straight Conference Championship and suffering some key personel losses, the bet is just too volatile...especially laying -245.
Remember, the Eagles have covered double-digits for 3 straight seasons...BEWARE...the price could be heavy and that's not a good thing for a team whose mental status is in question.
Cowboys don't have a QB? Where have you been? When was the last time a Superstar QB was a pre-requesite for a Superbowl team? You heard it here first...
Eagles fold, the Cowboys win the NFC East, and the Packers win the NFC Championship...
