    53-30

3-1-1 last night. I got lucky with the Philly/Boston game. The game was 'Over' however it's scored as a No Play since it didn't go the full 8 1/2 or 9 innings. The Yanks/Mets game was rained out. On to today:

    Unders:
    NYM/NYY 9.5
    St Louis/KC 9.5
    Milw/Minny 9
    Arizona/Detroit 9.5
    Colorado/Cleveland 8
    Florida/TB 9
    Atlanta/Baltimore 9.5

    GL to All!!!

            Frank

You seem to be a student of the game. . .

You always have the stats when anyone has a stat question

This is kind of a stat question

Since I'm a new observer/student. . .are there any trends that seem to occur yearly?

i.e. Unders will occur more at the beginning and end of the season? Overs will prevail in games where the new guys are being given their first chance this year? Bet dogs more frequently at the beginning of the season as linesmakers do not yet have the data to tell what is what?

These are some of the things I call the intangibles of a sport.

Used to work with a traveling nurse 12 years ago who had worked in Toronto and knew of a local bookie would give a bonus to a group of bargirls if they could. . .ahem. . . entice the starting ace into . . .shall we say. . .misbehavior the night before his start. . don't know if it really worked or not. . .was once a wintess to a party at an afterhours 20 years ago where the Cleveland starter was partying HARD. . .I didn't drink (however my significant other did). .but watching this guy. . I wasn't certain how he was even going to live to show up the next day for a afternoon game. . .but he showed going straight to the park from the afterhours. . .AND pitched 7 magnificent innings. . .which is why I take some intangibles with a grain of salt, including some hard/fast stats that seem to say one thing but frequently say something else.

I'm not ignoring you. I don't get online much on weekends. I'll post results to your questions on Monday.

                  Thanks to all
