While the streak ended last night, it appears as though last night's money lost will bemade up and then some as the Rays are annihilating Toronto today and WERE A DOG AGAIN! This time, they had a much better pitcher going, coming off a solid outing, against a mediocre Toronto hurler. Yet Tampa was a dog and Toronto took all the betting action. I still don't get it.
The point of all of this is to note that even though Tampa is coming home this weekend, they are playing Florida. My guess is the lines will favor the Marlins on their reputation. Tampa's incredible month of baseball hasn't translated into a penny of line movement. They are still shockingly undervalued and blindly playing them until they lose three in a row should continue to make big money. This startegy only needs to be abandoned when they start getting played as favorites. Remember, if a dog goes 1-1, you still MAKE money. When it goes 2-1, you make a lot. When the dog sweeps, you're rolling in it.
