Ldawg with Newman winning last year in Michigan i almost wagered on him too but he's had a so-so year and i left him out......... DAMN IT!

Oh well. Sonoma is guaranteed for 1 thing and that is a Robby Gordon wager. He has not had a great year but both Gordon's own that track!

You are right Sir ... newman has been up and down , that's why HE is ONLY 9th ( out of 43/45 ) in the overall standings instead of 3rd ! That dog 'WILL HUNT' and look for him 2 B in the top5 come 9/19 Run for the Cup !!

I Really can't see leaving Robby Gordon out of the mix in Sonoma.

He dominated from start to finish winning there last year and in 4 Sonoma races he has a 1st, 2nd, 9th, and 11th place finish.

The craziest thing of all is that he has used 3 different teams and cars in those 4 races and still is always in the mix up front there.

Yeah wayne, I hope he and Harvick don't get together on the track....didn't they knock heads there once before ! It should be an exciting race... would love to see Earnhardt (Sr.) and Tim Richmond run it one more time ...ah, those were the days !!
