CFL
3 STAR: SASKATCHEWAN (-5) OVER Calgary
The Roughriders returned home after dropping a 21-10 road decision to the Toronto Argonauts at SkyDome on Tuesday night. Saskatchewan lost starting quarterback Nealon Greene to a broken leg in the first quarter of that game and second string quarterback Henry Burris is nursing a sprained ankle so the starting duties might fall on the shoulders of No. 3 quarterback Rocky Butler, who completed 13- of-28 passes for 157 but also threw two interceptions against Toronto. Not much is expected this year from the Stampeders and after dropping both of its pre-season games, Calgary will make its regular- season debut under new head coach and general manager Matt Dunigan. Calgary was 1-8 on the road last year and 2-8 versus West Division rivals. The Roughriders are 14-4 against the spread in home games over the last 3 seasons and even banged up and tired, the Roughriders have much more firepower than Calgary and should rebound from their loss at Toronto and cover this number against the Stampeders.
2004 CFL RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 0-0 (+0.0 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 1-0 (+3.0 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 2-0 (+4.0 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 0-1 (-1.1 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 3-1 (+5.9 UNITS)
A $100 player would be up $590.00
