This year is a time right now to sit back and reevaluate how important pitching has become...........or lack there of........a huge mistake on my part thinking Hudson would carry this win (which he did) and I totally failed to scope in the home field advantage PLUS a poor manageing style PLUS a terrilbe veal pen.......I blew this one!!

Apparently rain got my Elarton total as well but the Mets are scoring at will vs another Veal Pen with Cleve.......sheeeeeeeshhhhhhhh!!

To Mecir's credit, he was efficient--it only took him about 3 minutes to blow that lead. I flipped over to another channel when they were starting the bottom of the ninth; came back 2 minutes later to find the bases loaded with no one out; came back 1 minute after that to find the game was over.

It sure is demorilizing!! Got half back of what I lost last week and just gave it all back tonight. A's and Phils both blow 9th inning leads! It seems like I am never on the other side of these comebacks!!!

In this day and age of five and six inning starts, starters are somewhat overrated. Play good teams when you get a favorable number and, as I argue in my own post, play Tampa Bay. It's like stealing right now with the Devil Rays. And most of all, do not play teams with shaky closers. At least that's what I think.
