Season record: 128-138 -23.10 UNITS
Lines from Pinnacle current as of 11:59pm Pacific on 06/15/04.
Two plays for Wednesday:
CHC (MADDUX) -109 over Hou (Redding) - 1 UNIT - 4:05pm Pacific
Redding is coming off of two awful starts, and returns home to Minute Maid where he has some pretty bad numbers this year. A flyball pitcher like him is not a good matchup in this park. Maddux is coming off three high quality starts in a row, and I expect him to continue that pace.
ANA (LACKEY) -124 over Pit (Fogg) - 1 UNIT - 4:05pm Pacific
Lackey looked very good in his last outing, and his velocity was finally present, as he hit 94mph on the radar gun. I'm not counting on him to single handedly win this one, however, as I think the Angels' offense will come through against Fogg. Fogg was showing signs of rebounding from his dreadful start, but he is not a good pitcher, and his poor start was more indicative of his true ability. The Angels should win this one based on the strength of their offense
PLEASE NOTE: All wagers are recommended for a "base" unit. Thus a side for 1 UNIT at -110 should be considered risking 1.10 UNITS to win 1.00 UNITS, while a team at +110 should be considered risking 1.00 UNITS to win 1.10 UNITSGLTA

MLB Action
Tampa Bay @ San Diego
Wednesday,June 16,2004
Tampa Bay Devil Rays (V.Zambrano) to win vs San Diego (Valdez) Todays pitcher for the Devil Rays has been in a groove for a while now and has been Tampa Bays most consistent starter this season. The right hander is 2-0 in his L3 starts with a 3.31 ERA. The Devil Rays won all 3 of those appearances. Zambrano was his usual consistent self as he threw a no-hitter for six innings his last time out against the Giants. Note:The TB hurler has a bank roll expanding 8-1 career record in inter league play and the Devil Rays as team are 5-1 in interleague action in 2004. While His pitching opponent on the other hand from the Padres (Valdez) was slapped around by the Red Sox in his last start, allowing six runs over just four innings of work. Bottom line: The Devil Rays have the superior pitcher in this matchup and as a team are a BANKROLL FRIENDLY 17-6 L23. The Padres on the other hand have seen their bats go cold and have lost 3 in a row and 5 of their L7 overall titls. Play on the underdog Rays
