Six plays for Sunday:

UNDER 7.5 ARI (JOHNSON)/TOR (LILLY) -123 - 1 UNIT - 10:05am Pacific
Johnson continues to be dominating, with stellar numbers in WHIP (0.83) and BAA (.167). He threw only 89 pitches in his last outing, so he should have plenty of gas today. Lilly has also been pitching very well as of late. Arizona's lineup has trouble against lefties, so Lilly should have a nice game as well.

TB (BRAZELTON) -120 over Col (Fassero) - 1 UNIT - 10:15am Pacific
Brazelton was impressive in his first call up of the year, giving up one unearned run in 4.2 IP earlier in the week. He shouldn't have much of a problem against the Rockies, who are 28th in scoring on the road. Fassero is allowing opponents to hit .338 off of him, and TB has posted better numbers against lefties.

SF (WILLIAMS) +103 over Bal (Ponson) - 1 UNIT - 10:35am Pacific
Ponson has been pretty awful, and I don't think he deserves to be listed as a favorite, even against a weak hitting team like the Giants. Williams can keep his team in the game, which is more than enough to ask for against an iffy starter like Ponson.

KC (GREINKE) +122 over NYM (Glavine) - 1 UNIT - 11:10am Pacific
So far, so good for Greinke, as he is showing why he'll be a future superstar. I'll gladly take a pitcher with his kind of talent as a dog against a weak offensive team in the Mets. He should have no problem against the Mets, so if his offense can give him minimal support, they should be in good position to win.

UNDER 9 NYM (GLAVINE)/KC (GREINKE) -122 - 1 UNIT - 11:10am Pacific
While I think the Royals will win, they probably will have a tough time against Glavine, who is on a nice roll this season. Kauffman's park effects should not hurt Glavine, as he has been keeping the ball on the ground.

SEA (PINEIRO) -139 over Mon (Armas) - 1 UNIT - 1:05pm Pacific
Although Pineiro's outward numbers are pretty bad, he has actually pitched pretty well this season, and had his best start of the year his last time out against Houston. Against an offense like Montreal's, he should have no problem. Armas is still shaking off some rust. Seattle still can't hit, but I don't think Pineiro will need much to work with.


PLEASE NOTE: All wagers are recommended for a "base" unit. Thus a side for 1 UNIT at -110 should be considered risking 1.10 UNITS to win 1.00 UNITS, while a team at +110 should be considered risking 1.00 UNITS to win 1.10 UNITS
