    Stand Outs :

Two totals are very good by the law of averages today :

    A. Leiter - Under [ 85.7% for him & 20-36 for the Mets , throw in the Royals @ 23-30 , I feel it should capture this number ***** ]

    B Penny - Under [ 87.5% for him & 24-31 for the Marlins , And Detroit floats in at 27-29 , taking my chances *** ]

      My sweet Lady

When you put on that lunch, could you at least invite our newest member MELONGE, he seems to have a handle on everything...If you don't believe that, just ask him...He could probaly teach a ROOKIE like you a few things about wagering...

PS....In addition I would love for him to taste that delicate Cyan soup you create....Put a little CAJUN seasoning in there, so he could think of me (1 of the 3 he bashed), and I could have CLOSURE...:D :D :D

      as always--your follower--TOF

        Ahh Yes :

The world famous MELONGE , I did happen to gather-in a post by him (Hes so kind to enlighten us ) and his reputation is exceeded only by the girth of his jaw-bone .

We are sure that his skills include the following , stump-jumping , rocket-riding (side-saddle) , out distancing the nearest competitor for the " Village Idoit Contest " , winner of the Texas Chilli Fart-Fest , and least we not forget his great ability to get along with others ( Napolean Hill`s got nothing on him )

I look forward to him pleasing us with his presence in the near future , cause after all he is just " Chalk-Full " of all the things that escape this forum ( Thank God ) . And the Lord knows we need his next great tip as to who wins the " Bull-Head-Clap " contest , as I am going to lay the wood on that one !

Eternally Yours Capt. of the Wise-Men :D

2 Wins posted here , and it easy for the 1st game but dang-me if Detroit didnt do thier damest to crush my second one .

6 to 0 top of the ninth , Robertson gets replaced by Walker who throws a HR ball to the 1st batter , then beans the next one , then allows a single , then allows a double steal , hes replaced by Yan who in 5 pitches allows another hit and another run scores then hes finally replaced by Urbina who in 4 pitches gets the final out .

          4 pitchers , 3 hits , 1 HR , 2 steals , a hit batter , gezzzzzzzzzzz and they call it a bull-pen (BS) , me and Goldvike call it veal-pens .

OK , I feel better now and I really had a great day all the way around with my selections but I place no faith in any pen this season except the Dodgers ( Period )!

            I AM

really hacked off at you for NOT inviting me to your cyanide brunch!!

I return to post some plays and procede to blow not only a 5 star pick but also an absolute GUT WRENCHING loss by the Reds who had a game all bagged up and ready to go to the bank!! Totally inexplecable! Winning a group of smaller plays and a parlay or two get the money back for literally zippo on a hard days work!

CONGRATS M&M to you on your super totals plays! Gotta go find a capsule of my own now if you won't share!

              Actually

The Tigers game was all the way under from start to finish. Hey it won so I'd say it adds to your strong trend of an under call here. The Royals Under was never in doubt. Nice calls and great day today. Al Leiter still amazes me. He ,ight not be as impressive as Clemens as an aging pitcher, but he's right up there. There's so many big names in pitchers and that's cause those pitchers have flash and power. Leiter was never eye candy, but man does he get the job done. If you ever have trends that are over 85% and you play them, please bump up your threads if possible. Missed these plays.

                My Dear G.V. :

I thought you had traded me in on a far younger model ( )

And was enjoying the beaches we often refer to in days gone by , and speaking of which I hope your little hiatus from my world was a great one . I cant say much about my capping skills lately in baseball , because theres not much to say other than Im on a major skid at the moment . As said upstairs I am in a rut lately and fighting thru it (todays wins make up for a single bet two days ago) and at 4-6 the past three days I aint braggin :angryfire

If not for my good old stand-by (dogs & horses) I would be in the soup-line by now . I can tell you this though , its great to see your prose & style again ( I can use a attitude adjustment )

I was just reading my betting astrology and it said :

                Lucky Numbers : 8-(12)-17-22-40-44 ( I won today & your Back )

And at the track (pups) I was simply astonishing tonite going in 46 races (so far) 21 Quinellas , 16 Trifectas , 10 Superfectas and thinking about our beach again

I said about a week ago that I thought we would be seeing you soon ( should have wagered ) and lo&behold PRESTO !

Thanks Big Guy , and dont be a stranger again .... please ?

                G.L.

                  markman :

Not complaining here , a win is a win , just the state of the game that exists at the moment ( 2 weeks for that matter ) .

I agree with you on Al Leiter , he is vastly underrated and I follow him closely . I post daily and its everyones job to search and read here , so I cant be bumping just for the sake of bumping . If I am answering a question or adding something then thats fine . To many bumps take place here for some very uncanny reasons already , and I really dont have time because of the racing forum and all the other irons in the fire .

Thanks for your time and I hope we nail a few more in the future , I am still waiting on my 20something games in a row this season and it will come ! ( it does every year )

                  G.L.

                    MMMGV or is it GVMMM

Haven't had many good days lately but today was one of them. I can only hope my plays going 5-1 and getting back 7 Units might be the start of a turnaround. Was it because GV is back posting again. Don't know, but the Lady hit both her totals too and I played those in addition to my own plays. Thanks Memphis. Today felt like one of those days back in Feb when everything was going so good. And GV, I figured out why you waited until now to come back. You were too embarrassed by your Twins, who now have won 5 our of 6 and were one of my picks again today.

                      Dialing 911 :

Interesting enough is that Arizona avgs 10.3 runs per and the Jays 9.2 per . Added and they avg 9.75 runs per game , now compare to the number ( 7 1/2 ) thats 2 1/4 lower than avg. ?

I know its the " Big Unit " & T. Lilly hurling in todays match-up , but I am taking a shot at the Over here ***

                      M. Buehrle has gone 8-1 (88.9%) in overs this year , with a 12.3 runs per and couple that with T. Smith not being a world beater and the ump being a over man , the winds very much on the up-side here today .............. Over 10 ********** ( Gettin Even )

A hunch play is J. Pineiro has been pitching just horrible and it seems when hes on the mound they give him zilch for support , but looking deeper is hes always matched-up with a killer pitcher and thats not the case today in T. Armas who is not on top of his game at this point ....... Over 7 *****

Little rebounding effort here wouldnt hurt a thing

The overs of (155) had me a little concerned but they ruled the day coming in at a huge 191 . With pitchers like Sheets , Johnson , Wells , Lee , Willis , Glavine , Greinke , Mulder , Clement , Pedro , Radke , and theres always a gem pitched by a unknown or two . It pretty well spells that unders should rule the day , and they adjusted for it at 139 today ........... Im not biting Overs are on a run so * Over & Roadies + 6 1/2 *

Any thoughts on the LA/Bost matchup tonight! Nomo hasn't been himself lately but can't bring myself to play Pedro @ that price either. Maybe the total is the best play? Thanks hc

                              Looking at it now

                              Up date :

A tough one and I will pass , in order for LA to win this one Hernandez ( 3 for 8 1 HR ) & Izturis have to do well vs. Pedro , Encarncion is hitting well ( .409 BA last 11 ) . Nomo is 3-1 2.84 ERA vs the Sox . ( But 3-6 7.33 ERA this year ? )

Pedros 1-3 / 3.53 ERA vs LA and I feel that Ramirez , Damon ( 6 for 16 1 HR ) and Ortiz have to be on top tonite .

                              Over/Under 8.5 { A hunch tells that Boston will cover this alone , but we need the bull-pen to stay out of it because LA has the only one in baseball I fear , a nip&tuc type game would be how to get there ( 1,2,0,1,3,etc.) cause if Mota , Driefert , Alverez , Gange hit the rubber its over }

                              G.L.
