LOS ANGELES (31 - 26) at BOSTON (35 - 24): Play On The Los Angeles Dodgers +114 4 Star 6/11/2004 6:05:00 PM
Friday, 6/11/2004 ODALIS PEREZ (L) vs. DEREK LOWE (R). Lowe and Perez heading differnt directions. Lowe is a go against as a favorite until he shows us a good start. Lowe comes in with an ERA over 8 at home and a Whip of 2.05. Take the Dodgers as a 3.5% Play.
We had a nice 3-0 day in Baseball on Thursday with the Marlins, Twins, and Expos/Royals Under first game winning for us. The Marlins game was a Heavy Hitter Play and won nice and easy.......
FRIDAY, JUNE 11
SCOTT RICKENBACH / MARK WEILER - The PLAYERS ADVANTAGE
CLEVELAND / SABATHIA over Cincinnati / Wilson. Cleveland is coming off of a very poor effort at home yesterday. They only scored one run. Prior to that the Indians were on a 4 and 1 run and had scored 32 runs in those five games. We expect them to have success off of Wilson who has a great record this season but is not as solid of a starter as Sabathia. We expect C.C. to keep the Reds off of balance and since he comes from the left side it should keep some of Cincy's best hitters from doing much at the plate. PLAY CLEVELAND AS THEY BOUNCE BACK FROM THEIR THURSDAY NIGHT LOSS.

STEVE MERRIL - PRO SPORTS INFO
Pittsburgh / Benson at Oakland / Hudson OVER 8. Pittsburgh has been much better offensively on the road this season than at home. The Pirates average a solid 5.1 runs per game and hit .285 on the road. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh starter, Kris Benson, has a weak 7.36 ERA over his past three starts. PLAY OVER THE TOTAL.

DREW COOK - PRIME SPORTS PICKS
St. Louis / Suppan over TEXAS / DOMINGUEZ. Jeff Suppan has pitched very well this season for the Cardinals, especially on the road, going (4-0) with a 1.93 ERA. St. Louis might have Al Pujols back in the lineup tonight as a DH, which would only make the Cardinal lineup that much better. Texas also has plenty of offensive ability themselves and can certainly put runs on the board in the hitter friendly Arlington Stadium. With rookie Juan Dominguez making only his third start of the season (first at home) for the Rangers, the Cards get the edge here on the mound. PLAY ON ST. LOUIS WITH SUPPAN
Game: Pittsburgh Pirates at Oakland Athletics Jun 11 2004 10:05PM
Prediction: Oakland Athletics
Reason: At 10:05 PM, our complimentary selection is on the Oakland A's with Timmy Hudson over Pittburgh with Kris Benson. Hudson has been solid all season, as he has a 6-2 record with a 2.92 ERA, while Benson has struggled (4-5, 5.37 ERA). Hudson threw a complete game shutout in his last start--a 4-0 victory over Pat Hentgen and the Blue Jays--and I look for another exceptional outing today. Take Oakland. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
Al McMordie is on a 17-5 Baseball run here, and is the #1-ranked handicapper, as documented by The Sports Monitor. And tonight, is Big Al's Underdog of the Week out of 3 situations that are 100% Perfect. Big Al is also 100% Perfect on his Underdogs of the Week, as he looks to move his record to 6-0 with this AWESOME Winner. Go get it.

50* INTERLEAGUE DOG OF THE WEEK - DETROIT
Leading the Tigers with a .350 batting average and 42 RBIs, former Marlin Pudge Rodriguez's impact on Detroit has been immediate as he and fellow newcomers Rondell White, Carlos Guillen, Fernando Vina, Jason Johnson and former Florida closer Ugueth Urbina have helped the team to a respectable start. The Tigers are entering this series on a bit of a roll, having won two of three from visiting Atlanta. Detroit pulled out a 7-4 win on Thursday. The Tigers will be plenty motivated in hosting tbe defending World Series champs, and Rodriguez will look at this as the biggest game of the season - thus far - personally.
25* MLB WINNER - BALTIMORE
This is more of a handicap againt the Giants, who have lost two of three at Tampa Bay, including Wednesday's 5-2 setback. San Francisco failed to produce a hit before Damon Minor's leadoff single off Victor Zambrano in the seventh inning. The Giants have lost six of 10, killing most of the momentum they built during a season-high 10-game winning streak to close May. San Francisco is 5-6 on its season-high 14-game road trip.
25* MLB WINNER - PHILLY
Philadelphia began the week by splitting two games with the White Sox, before the teams were rained out Thursday. The Phillies pitching staff welcomed the off day after allowing 24 runs in two games. And the extra day off will prove to be an advantage for the Phillies after the Twins went 15 innings to pull out a 3-2 win over the Mets on Thursday, completing a three-game sweep.

MLB - 7:15 ET
Colorado Roickies at Tampa Bay D'Rays
4* Tampa Bay -118
Certainly this is a risk taking a minor-league relief pitcher in Chad Gaudin, but unfamiliarity of playing in Tampa (first game in a dome this year) and against a pitcher they haven't seen might be tough for Colorado to overcome. The Colorado website reports manager Hurdle would love to give Todd Helton a rest. That's not good considering the Rockies are already without Preston Wilson and Larry Walker. Meanwhile Vinny Castilla is now in a 6-for-45 slump. I knew sooner or later that Colorado staff would crack at Yankee Stadium and they surrendered 10 runs on Thursday afternoon. This means since last Friday (without a day off), the Rockies have allowed 60 runs in seven games. Aaron Cook's start last Saturday resulted in a 16-4 home loss to San Francisco in a game he allowed eight hits, eight runs, and issued five walks in 4 1/3rd innings. The Rockies have now lost five straight and seven of eight with their only win against Kurt Rueter, who we opposed last night at Tropicana Field (4* Best Bet on Devil Rays Thursday). Let's take a close look at some very rocky results: Colorado is 0-3 in inter-league play; 9-23 at night; 13-34 against right-handed starters; 8-22 on the road. Opposing batters are hitting .362 in their last seven games. The bullpen's ERA is at 5.60 thanks to in part that no less than five guys expected to contribute in relief are on the disabled list. This team is in complete shambles. Tampa Bay is quietly 12-5 this year at home if their last two games were played at Tropicana Field. Oh by the way, the Rockies are 0-8 on Fridays this year (UGH!). This is unbelievable: Colorado is 39-90 the past three years on the road if they are playing at least their 3rd consecutive game on enemy diamonds. They are 1-8 the last three years on the road against teams representing the AL East. I don't know squat about Gaudin, but he started three games last year and his team won two of them. After getting swept at "The Stadium", Colorado is now 13-37 on the inter-league road since its inception. Tampa Bay has won 7/10 recently and 13/19. This is about as cheap as you will ever be able to play against Colorado on the road. We capitalized last night opposing the Giants without Bonds and hopefully Helton will sit out tonight.
Can anyone get the full card for AAA Sports today? Good night last night. I believe their freebie was already posted here, but if not, it's the Dodgers +115 over the Red Sox (Perez/Lowe).
