Last night Montreal lost at Kansas City in this year’s first “ Smashed Windshield “ MLB game. For those of you who do not know what that is , the term was coined by the late Pete Axthelm and it goes like this : You and your friend are driving to Kauffman Stadium to see the Royals / Expos but before you get to the park you stop off at a nearby pub to grab a beer. You accidentally leave the 2 tickets to the game on your dashboard. When you get back to your car you notice the windshield is smashed in … and there on the dash you find FOUR tickets to the game .
