Went 4-6 yesterday, but still won +13.58 units! +17.43 units on a 2 teamer with Tampa Bay/Over 9, won 8.75 units on a 2 teamer with NYY/Ov 9.

Marlins T Phelps -1.05 for 5 units; The Marlins had originally opened up at +1.04. The Marlins are 16-7 vs the National League East, take away a 1-5 record vs Atlanta and this makes them 15-2 vs the rest of the East. One hell of a record, isn't it?

Ginter has started two games at home this year; losing 4-7 vs the Phillies and winning 9-7 vs the Rockies.

Phelps has started 2 games on the year. He's thrown 27 innings, allowing 23 hits, 13 runs, 4 homeruns, 8bb's, 20 K's, is 1-0 with a 3.67 ERA, opponents are hitting .232 against him and he has a whip of 1.15. Besides the fact that the Marlins are 15-2 vs the East (Minus 1-5 vs the Braves), 7-4 L11 at Mets, 11-3 vs Mets the Last 14 meetings, there's a better reason why I like the Marlins today. Phelps has been prone to serving up the longball this year, allowing 4 in 27 innings pitched! Today this isn't going to happen, the weather conditions favor him to not serving up any diggers today. Winds are blowing in from right field at 15-25 MPH with a 70 % chance of rain, and game time temperatures are expected to be around 60. My prediction Marlins 5 Mets 3

Love the Red Sox tonight with Schilling and going against D May who can serve up the long ball. First of all, the Red Sox have lost 4 games in a row over all, Schilling picked up their last win, and the Red Sox have lost 4 in a row on the road, Schilling picked up their last win on the road. With the Yankees losing today, I look for Schilling to come out and pitch a gem of a game, being the competitor that he is. The line of -2.30 is way to high for me, so I parlayed Boston with the Brewers since the Padres are having problems scoring at home. Boston/Brewers for 5 units to win 11.5 units.

The Cardinals pulled out a game last night against the Astros, tonight I'm expecting a different outcome. I am parlaying the Astros with the Rockies +1 1/2 RL for 5 units to win 12 units!

My 3rd 2 teamer is on the Rockies over 13 1/2 and the Angeles over 10 for 5 units to win 14.06 units. I should be leery of these totals since my book has raised each total by 1/2 run, but what the hell I like each game this way and will stick with my guns win or lose. I only need to hit one of these 3 parlays to come out + units and if I hit 2 of 3, then another great day is ahead.

Record for Saturday

Went 1-4 on the day and lost 12 units! Should have been 2-3 and lost 2units, but the Calgary goal in the third period was not challanged. Calgary should have won the cup, tonight, but this goal was only seen by us the spectators and the announcers of the game. Bad/unlucky beat I guess!
