        Fiest Staff Play

        This Week's Free Staff Play
Los Angeles Dodgers @ Arizona Diamondbacks (Saturday)
Odalis Perez (2-3 3.07 era) vs. Casey Daigle (2-3, 7.16 era)

The Dodgers continue to hold a share of the NL West lead with the San Diego Padres and this promises to be an interesting weekend as they visit Arizona where the D?Backs are flirting with last place. Odalis Perez has rebounded from an off year last season and pitched quite well recently with a 1.71 era in his last three starts. Last time out he went 7 innings and gave up 5 hits and 2 earned runs against Milwaukee. He?s a disciplined lefty with an excellent changeup off a decent fastball. The Dodgers are winning on the road and have an opportunity to make haste this weekend with or without Milton Bradley. Arizona?s Daigle gave up three runs in a losing effort to the Giants 5 days ago and his era over his last three appearances is a lofty 6.43. Arizona has stepped it up a notch lately (they scored 11 runs against the Giants this week) and had a three game winning streak through Thursday. However, they have lost their best hitter (Richie Sexson) for the season to a shoulder injury. Bottom line is that the Dodgers are motivated and Perez has his A-game. Play the LA Dodgers.

Turning into worst week of bases I have ever seen

Net Prophet has basically sh_t himself. Sandman not doing well either. JCD about to lose second in a row (30-12 into today).

Seattle-White Sox had gone over 13 of 16, now about to go under for second day in a row. Braves can't win with ace. Baltimore gets postponed. Twins lose to a team that was 4-25 in Domes! Also go Under for second day in row after series went OVER 10 of 11! What next?! I wonder if I will win a single play!

                  Kevin O'Neill

                  Fleetfox --

Thanks for Kevin O'Neill's picks -- his totals have been rock solid earners for the last coiuple of seasons.

Please continue to post if you get them.

                  Good luck,
                  "Mike"

                    FrankB,
EZ blows, they cannot even compare to the above, the whole industry was on the WS last night, but EZ had Seattle.
What was their reasonong for that?

                    So I'm no rookie...

Gee whiz, Bluester -- how could anyone mistake you for a rookie? You say "EZ blows" but that you didn't mean to ruffle any feathers??? And this thoughtful assessment comes from one losing pick you have the brilliant hindsight to call into question. Never mind that he is documented up nearly 40 units in bases this season.

Also, many non-rookies will tell you that when a large number of service plays are on the same side (such as Marlins with Burnett the other night) -- LOOK OUT!!!

Then, a tout you say has been consistent but turns out to be at about 40% for the season (as Carl quickly pointed out)???

You're off to a great start -- ROOKIE!

Personally have found Big Al to be exceptional in streaks and overall not profitable. EZ's record is available on his site and isaccurrate. Have found his bad streaks to be short lived and obviously over the long haul his selections are profitable. Have always received responses anytime I emailed a question and I am sure anyone would be treated just as well. There are good handicappers and class people but EZ is rare in that he is both and is due a lot of respect for all his efforts that are provided FREE.

                          Bettors Chat

Thanks for the Neri play. I've been trying to track him. He claimed at his website that he was approximately 40 units for each of the last two years in baseball.

Do you know if that was his only play for today? RFC

                            Bluesters

You seem like a good team player but you can not come up here and say a member of bettorschat blows... You should have known better than that... Service or no service he is an upstanding member here... If you do not like his plays that is fine to say so... But the "EZ Blows" comment was out of line...

Now, let's put this behind us and move on... You will find that the guys here are a tight knit family and we look out for each other ..I really feel you will fit in.....We are here to share and share only.... Bol to you and thanks for understanding....

                                NetProphet, Sandman now officially SUCK

NetProphet is well below .500 the past three weeks. I have it documented. 0-5 today pretty much seals it.

Sandman has also hit the skids though he may be hovering in or around .500. Problem is too many large favs and last second releases scrambling to make up for earlier losses, i.e. chasing lost money.

Stay away from these until they prove they can won consistently.

Finally, how do I find OTM and Chip Murphy? This guy is truly good, but I cannot find his service.
