Talk about your strange nite in the horsehide action , last nite was a doozy !
Recent trends have the unders overhauling the overs , last nite NOT !
Recent trends have the favs out hustling the dogs , last nite NOT !
Projections last nite at a less then stellar 13-17 ( overall )
Baseball was a dismal 11-17 NBA 2-0
As most here know , I love the challenge of taking every game and its a tough act to follow when this is done . All arguments can be settled by trying it yourself for a long period of time , and you will see that in the end even the best of cappers will get eaten by the juice-bug ( except for your strong points ) , but I do love to grab the undertaking because it does nothing but make my game stronger in the end .
I fully expect the ship to right itself today and the rest of the week after last nites debacle as far as the games themselves , this was a break from the norm ( 9 of 15 favs lost and could have been worse if not for some 9th inning heroics ) and not being a huge chalk eater myself , I know that this cant maintain this pace.
Enough about the past and on to what counts . I would have to think that some of my fellow cappers here at the forum had to have stellar evenings know thier perchants for dogs ( You Know Who You Are
) and I hope you raked the man across the coals and made him do the fire-walk with his pants down !
I also want to say that last nites anger (concerning the forum) and my abrupt exit in the heat of the moment was out of character for me , but from my point of view I will not tolerate opening a thread and having my eyes and mind seared with such vile , appalling , and less than adult carnage that has nothing to do with our mission here. Free speech is a given , but that was against the laws of nature , " much less man " !
I am begging and pleading that this comes to a end , and I now inform everyone that I will not respond nor even look into certain threads , but understand this :
" I have to Look before I Know "
and thats the part that is wrong , maybe we need another icon ( like the paper-clips ) that has " Radiation Sickness " on it so that I am forewarned and then proceed at my own risk but untill then I am done with it !
Now to the hunt , and I am intent on getting even after the slaughter I endured last nite , at least I feel confident the worst is behind me and I am getting the gusto today !!!!
