Sorry Off topic but I want to be protected from spyware and I know you know your stuff on it. I saw you posted two links but if you have the time can you repost the link and tell me which one to click on and install. I think it was an ad-aware program or something. Is it neccessary to have these programs or is an anti virus usually good enough?

mark I have ad-aware which helps a lot. I still have a lot of processes running on my computer that I don't know how they got there, and don't want them there. They are slowing my computer up greatly. What's a guy to do?????

Thanks. Also, if you want my buddy's action let me know on which game. It hasn't helped me much, cause a lot of times his lobsided action has hit this year. He has gotten better at trying to even out the action, but not masters like in Vegas.

Anti-virus has nothing to do with getting rid of spyware.

they don't keep spy-bot up to date, it's a good program but I feel adware is better.

Spybot just revamped their program and it seems to work much better now. I agree with you about the updates, hopefully they'll be better about that in the future.

I especially like the "Immunize" feature that prevents spyware from installing in the first place, which Ad-Aware does not have, although Ad-Aware is definitely better for finding the bad guys once they're leeched onto your computer.

So I use both. No conflicts so far.
