wallstreet :
Hope your doing well also , I did stop in to record a few games a few times and it has to be done in order to keep a running tally as to how each system is doing ( and at what stages of the season to ) .
Before I turn in tonight , I would like to say one more thing about luck as it where :
Counter Factual Thinking :
In Wisemans studies he found that athletes who won bronze medals where actually happier about thier situations then ones who won silvers !
Point being is they (bronze) felt that had they done worse it would mean no medal at all , while the silver fellas could only dwell on had they done better the gold was thiers !
He gave tests to gain insight as to peoples ways of thinking by asking if they where in a bank and it was robbed and they where shot in the arm . The ones who had continually tested as counter factual answered that they where unlucky to have been in the bank at that time , while the others responded that it could have been worse and they could have been shot in the head .
This is a part of the lucky syndrome that goes hand in hand with those who look at what they are seeing and not what they want to see
and a big plus about this continues to explain how one can be taught to find thier luck by learning certain things .
Anyway more on this later , I just seen that S.F. won and gave me a great day at the tote-window for a 6-0 sweep on the day .... ya-ba-daba-do as they say !
