Need to bust out of this little slump. Yesterday was a pathetic 1-3 for a loss of 4.95 units, with the only bright spot being a 5 STAR winners with the Angels. I really don't like most of the card today, so I am only playing this one game.....
2 STAR: MONTREAL (+$125) OVER San Francisco
(Zack Day vs. Jason Schmidt)
Jason Schmidt threw a dominating one hitter against the Cubs in his last start, but in that complete game he threw over 140 pitches! That is a lot of pitches for a guy who has had arm problems and started the season on the DL due to those problems. Montreal counters with Zach Day on the mound. Day has dominated the Giants in his first two career starts against San Francisco. He is 2-0 in those starts with an ERA of only 0.60 allowing only 1 run in 15 innings pitched against the Giants. I don't see San Francisco getting much off of him today.
2004 MLB RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 10-7 (+8.95 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 22-15 (+21.10 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 49-50-1 (-1.16 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 36-35 (+9.65 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 117-107-1 (+38.54 UNITS)
A $100 player would be up $3854.00
